The Bioinformatics and Biodiversity Conference (BBC) 2024 has two stages of submission with the following deadlines:

• Abstract submission: open until October 18, 2024
• Full paper submission: open until November 23, 2024

You may choose to present your research orally or as a poster. In case you are not ready to publish your full paper or choose other publication outputs other than listed by BBC 2024, you only need to submit an abstract, not a full paper.

PREPARING YOUR MANUSCRIPT

1. The manuscript should align with the scope of the 5^th Bioinformatics and Biodiversity Conference (BBC) 2024, and meet the guidelines. 
2. Submissions must be original and unpublished work, not previously presented at any other event (similarity score should not exceed 25%). To verify originality, you can use the Similarity Checker tool in the Editor pane of Microsoft Word, which compares the document with online sources.
3. Manuscripts must be written in English (US) and use Arial font for the title and headings, with Times, Times Roman, or Times New Roman for the main content, including figures and tables. The manuscript should be at least 4 pages long, with no upper limit on the number of pages.
4. The abstract should be limited to 200 words (excluding the title, authors, and affiliations), formatted in two columns on A4 paper in PDF format. 
5. The manuscript format should be set as follows:
   1. Font sizes: Title (16 pt); Heading 1 (12 pt); Author name, Heading 2, Heading 3, and Content (10 pt); Author details, Abstract, Figures, and Tables (9 pt).
   2. Margins: Top (25 mm); Left (20 mm); Bottom (20 mm); Right (20 mm).
   3. The text should use single line spacing. 
   4. Paragraphs must be justified, with no indentation for the first paragraph after a section or subsection, and a 5 mm indentation for subsequent paragraphs.
   5. Ensure that all fonts are embedded, and the file is neither encrypted nor contains headers, footers, bookmarks, form fields, links, or annotations. 
   6. Additionally, make sure the resolution of any included images is suitable for printing (300 DPI).
6. For all authors, both primary and co-authors, include full names, credentials, and email addresses. If authors are from multiple institutions, list the secondary institution(s) and specify the authors' affiliations. Do not reverse the order of author names unless directed by the publisher, and do not include professional titles such as "Professor," "Graduate Student Researcher," or "Head of Department" in the names or affiliations.

Publication

We invite authors to submit their full papers in English electronically through the CoSy system. All submissions will undergo a peer-review process, evaluated based on relevance and timeliness, technical content and scientific rigor, innovation and originality, and the quality of presentation. Selected papers that have been presented will be considered for possible publication in journals or proceeding, as listed below:
